Walter Masalin joins panel of judges in IoT finals at 4YFN

The judges will participate on a panel to explore how mobile technology presents a new challenge for traditional industries. They will share their ideas about Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Transport, Robots, among many other topics

After the panel, 8 selected startups will pitch on the Disrupted by Mobile track to show the world they are the best startup of the year.

List of startups finalists on Internet of Things track:
eWATERpay (Newbury, UK) is a fully integrated mobile money, IoT and contactless pay solution to collect small affordable payments from people using eWATERtaps across the developing world.
hu:toma (London, UK) helps companies reduce staffing costs by deploying AI programmes that act and behave like their human counterparts.
PiQuant Co Ltd (Seoul, South Korea) aims to help people become healthier and safer through spectroscopy.
Heptasense (Lisbon, Portugal) offers scalable and customisable cloud-based APIs for gesture recognition.
Aquabit Spirals (Tokyo, Japan) offers an IoT platform that allows for the delivery of digital content from any physical object onto a smartphone.
SmarTap Ltd (Haifa, Israel) is offers a digital shower system that sets new standards for reduction of water consumption and energy usage via cloud and machine learning.
Moodnode (Berlin, German) provides a smarter home experience using IoT devices from mood lights to automatic ambient tracking.
Breeze (Hamburg, Germany) offers data-driven decision making for better air

Before the panel and pitches of the finalist, the GSMA will give the Women4Tech Special Recognition Award to the startups selected between all 4YFN Awards finalists.
