Paul Asel, Partner, brings more than fifteen years of global investment experience to Nokia Growth Partners. Previously, he managed the technology investment practice in south Asia for the International Finance Corporation. Prior to IFC, Mr. Asel was a General Partner at Telos Venture Partners and a Senior Vice President at Delta Capital. He has over ten years on-the-ground experience in Russia, Poland, India, Thailand and Mexico. Mr. Asel began his career with Merrill Lynch in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He received a Masters in Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College. Paul is based in Washington DC.
	John Gardner, Partner, has led and managed investments in companies across the information technology spectrum, including enterprise software, carrier software, systems and component companies. John comes to Nokia Growth Partners from BlueRun Ventures, where he was one of the founding partners at that firm. Prior to that, John held a senior business development role at NOKIA Corp. and has over 15 years of experience advising and working with start-up and emerging businesses, including extensive transactional experience in mergers, acquisitions and venture capital investments. John holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. John is based in Menlo Park, California.
	Tapio Siik, Partner, brings close to twenty years of engineering and technology experience from various software and hardware areas to the team. During his 15 years with Nokia, he has held several management positions in network infrastructure, mobile handset, and venturing organizations, where he has also been involved with multiple acquisitions in various roles. Previously, he has been working at ABB and Intergraph, focusing on CAD/CAE/CIM. Tapio holds an M.Sc. from the Tampere University of Technology. Tapio is based in Tampere, Finland.
	Rob Trice, Partner, brings a variety of domestic and international operational and business planning experience to Nokia Growth Partners. He joined BlueRun Ventures in late 2000. Previously, he worked at DIRECTV in Los Angeles and Tokyo. Rob also worked as a policy analyst at a Washington, D.C. based think tank, the Center for Strategic & International Studies. He holds a Master of Arts from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia. Rob is based in Menlo Park, California.
